I feel I broke out of the shyness several years ago thanks to college and customer service jobs. I guess I used Online dating as a crutch for shyness, but now I see it as the "easy for out" despite the disappointments. I get that in the "real world" I could meet a woman at a sick, exchange numbers and dating a week later, she too could drop off the face of the earth. I don't believe in the instant chemistry, but much like a job interview, there are a bunch of other candidates for back of me and one wrong move, or if there isn't that instant spark, then I'm done for!
